Ceremony planned to mark first anniversary of George Jones' death

The late George Jones' widow is planning to commemorate the first anniversary of the country legend's passing. 

Nancy Jones will host a memorial event on April 26th at George's monument at Nashville's Woodlawn Cemetery.  The ceremony is open to the public.  Nancy is encouraging George's friends and fans to attend to help "keep his legacy alive." 

The event will include the planting of two dogwood trees at the monument. 

The Country Music Hall of Famer died at a Nashville hospital on April 26th, 2013, at the age of 81.
